Channel 5 in the U.K. are running a series of programmes focusing on a particular year. Number 10 is 1968 and it naturally features the Beatles, specifically the Apple Store and the trip to India. Some of the footage I’m not familiar with - colour film of Paul, George and Ringo individually going into the rear of a building which might be for the Yellow Submarine premiere. I don’t have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Beatle footage so this might be well known, but even the common material seems to be in upgraded quality:

The Beatles section is the first up, although you might have to register to watch the show. There are a lot of talking heads but it’s not a bad watch and not without its moments.
