AMERICA'S 1976 LP HIDEWAY: GEORGE MARTIN AND GEOFF EMERICK

America it's a very good band (duo now, after Dan Peek's death many years ago).

George Martin produced several America Albums between 1974 and 1979: Hat trick, Holiday, Hearts, Hideway, Harbour, Hits, Live. (sorry if some is forgotten)

Hideway was released in vinyl and cassette back in 1976 was produced by Sir George Martin (RIP) and engineered by Geoff Emerick (RIP)

Was recorded in Caribou Ranch in Colorado mountains. Cold, snowy outside. George M. complained a bit, with his fine English sense of humour (he had his own recording studio in Montserrat, Caribbean, you know well)

Next America's album (Harbor), was recorded in Hawaii !!.
