I think this link is better than the one I posted some days ago. More friendly user and with the same layout as BeatlegDB
https://forum.pinkrobert.net/viewforum.php?f=213
Clicking on music (on top) you go to the whole list with Beatles and many others for downloading away.
Enjoy !!!

Yes, there is an awful lot of stuff there by many artists, in FLAC format.
BUT just because it is FLAC does not mean it is lossless. A LOT of his stuff is just bloated re-encoded mp3 files.
Bigger, but not better.
So the advice is to sample something, test if it really is lossless, then keep it either way if you want to ... but don't share it elsewhere
if it is lossy-sourced.

How do I test if a flac file is sourced from mp3?siveld wrote: ↑Sun Jan 21, 2024 5:09 am Yes, there is an awful lot of stuff there by many artists, in FLAC format.

The quick (but not always accurate) way is to use the free program Trader's Little Helper. It can decode the FLAC files to .wav and then test them.
The overall point is to not share lossy-sourced FLAC files.
All of Pink Robert's files that I have tested come up lossless. Bee Gees, and Beach Boys Life's A Beach series. Many years ago I queried PR about the latter on his forum. The Life's A Beach series was created on bootlegzone and shared only as mp3. His response basically was that it didn't matter because his members wanted FLAC files so the source did not matter to him. A somewhat disappointing response when he could have simply shared the original mp3 files and stated that they were not available in lossless.

I think you mean “all of Pink Robert’s files I have tested come up LOSSY” not “lossless”, no?siveld wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2024 6:03 am The quick (but not always accurate) way is to use the free program Trader's Little Helper. It can decode the FLAC files to .wav and then test them.
