Thank you very much. You missed part of Brian's interview with Paul before KC/HHHH, though (it's available on your earlier collections, and elsewhere).

I often listen to these shows first thing in the morning when I have a chance. They are so fresh and uplifting they always put me in a good mood for the day.
No that was actually a rerecorded intro for Top Of The Pops. If you compare them you'll hear he uses different wording. The one here is the original.beatlesondvd wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 11:24 am Thank you very much. So was Paul not actually answering a person, just responding to a pre-recordeed question?Lord Reith wrote: ↑Thu Jan 04, 2024 8:53 pmNo that was actually a rerecorded intro for Top Of The Pops. Re: The Beatles And Harry At The Beeb
No, on the original Saturday Club broadcast Brian asks:
"...songs are not all your own compositions are they?"
And when the interview appeared later in Top Of The Pops he rephrases it as:
"... all the songs are not your own compositions for a change are they?"
I don't know why he did this, but I'm guessing there was something that had to be removed and it was easier just to rerecord the question. It's hard to know because the very beginning of the question is missing from the tape of the original Saturday Club broadcast.
