Thank you for this wonderful effort.

I would fully agree with all cliftdean74 stated, and reiterate that the playback component part of it can have quite an effect. The reason I sought out the MR Horzu version long ago was because it had been noted, for some time, as a significantly good pressing, and one definitely worth having. Of original, non-remastered pressings, I have considered it one of the best. Regarding MR versions in general, I have always considered them as all sounding quite natural and very balanced. I am looking forward to listening to all of these recent downloads as soon as I get the proper gear for a good critical listen.cliftdean74 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 6:21 amThere’s so many variables at play with a needledrop. Playback components to your particular pressing. Based on the cover art / graphics I believe the MR needledrop is from the 1981 pressing with the German Apple label. So it’s the same stamper as the Horzu but a later pressing. I’ve had two records of the same pressing sound dramatically different. But yes, I agree. The MR version hits all the right notes for me too.Astrogal wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2023 5:12 am What an amazing collection!
One question, the German MMT sounds amazing here, and also a bit different to other Horzu MMTs I've listened to; different stereo balance maybe. PBTHAL's needledrop sounded muffled in comparison, Mirror Spocks sounds too bright... Is the MIllenium Remaster altered from the German mix or is it true to the source? Either way, it's my preferred version.
Thanks again for all this great work!
Thanks for all the shares.

I totally agree with the previous posts on the German Magical Mystery Tour. I have numerous needle-drops of that title and find the MR one to be really good. Sadly there is a volume drop at the very beginning of "Strawberry Fields Forever". I even checked the German LP series as well and it's the same.
It's such a good transfer I want to try and correct that volume issue. I'm hoping maybe I have a very early version and this was corrected on later versions. It's probably a very easy fix for the computer guys.
I've really been enjoying the US Capitol LP series with the mono/stereo versions.

As I was afraid (because I already received copies of it) "Yesterday And Today / Revolver" - there is also something "wrong" here - several songs have a very different quality/loudness/dynamics from the rest of the collection, which are usually very balancedcliftdean74 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 3:58 am
