Thanks, can you offer corrections?Lord Reith wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 11:50 pmI don't think they got a single date right in that thing. I've got these tracks filed by supposed date and they don't match the Harry set at all.

The link for Vol.1 is still valid for 2 days - I think BeatleDan was actually talking about "the Beatles At The Beeb part 1". But thanks MrMurphMcgee I will use that re-up of V1 you posted in a couple of days time!

We all owe a great debt to Lord Reith for his assembly of this great set, and his upgrades. This stuff is certainly core, and there's nowhere else you'll find better sets than Reiths'. For about two years I have been converting his mono mixes into four-stem stereo, and though I was almost finished with his 2021 set, now realize it will have to begin again with this fantastic new crop. Today I mixed some tracks from his disk 04, and am very pleased with how some came out (sometimes it takes many mixes to make it right!). Here's a sample, "That's All Right Mama," and the pop theme intro.

Welcome to my world. I had barely finished Abracadabra when the demixing algorithm I was using was massively upgraded. Such is life!

Ed, thanks for this sample! Ironically, today I have been replacing your older BBC stereo remixes with your more recent offerings while tidying up LR's collection, and now *I'll* have to redo my work as well!EdinSc wrote: ↑Sun Dec 24, 2023 3:16 amFor about two years I have been converting his mono mixes into four-stem stereo, and though I was almost finished with his 2021 set, now realize it will have to begin again with this fantastic new crop. Re: The Beatles At The Beeb 1982 extended
Greetings to all our friends on this Christmas Eve. In the dying days of 2023 we celebrate exactly 60 years since that frantic, breakthrough year of 1963. The entire world it seems forgot, but we weren't going to let it pass without commemoration! So here is another box of delights from Harry taken from that seminal year. Pass the baubles...erm, sorry, beebles! Deck the halls with boughs of Hollies!
