A thought that has come to mind: for people that like playing the Rock Band game, the AI separations will probably get good enough to enable a fan (or a collective of fans) to create new .mogg/.bik files that can be used in the game (as long as the game will accept the new content - I don't know if the game would accept it or not, but I'd guess there could be a work-around to enable new content to be accepted).

You get better vocal quality if you isolate the backing, download it and OOPS it with the original. If you choose the "isolate vocals" option it produces an inferior result.

This works better than Spleeter for vocals.
