On 19 september 1969, the Dutch music station Veronica, had the premiere of the new Beatles album Abbey Road. This station which had it's studio on a boat on the sea, broadcasted this album before Abbey Road was released. It was released in the UK on 26 september.
The show "Jan en Alleman"' presented by the dutch DJ Jan Veen, had a special message from John Lennon recorded a day before. I never heard it before and was glad i found this tape.
I think it's very special for all the Dutch members here. The tape had a lot of hum, which i have removed. You can still hear a bit. It sounds like the recording was done by recording the live broadcast with a microphone.
