This is an upgraded version of Abracadabra Vol.9 and supersedes all versions of that release. Improvements include better separation through improved demixing algorithms, better instrument placement, better high end fidelity and fewer artefacts.
I've also added a few extra tracks:
- Hey Jude (not included on the White album SDE for some reason)
- Revolution (ditto)
- You Know My Name (not included on the LIB SDE. This is the full length version in stereo)
- While My Guitar gently Weeps tk1 (not included on the White album SDE. This is the unedited version with the organ)
- Step Inside Love (cobbled together out of several takes made during filming with Paul, George Martin and Cilla Black, with John and Ringo's percussion flown in from their busked version which appears on Anthology)
- Sour Milk Sea (a mash up of George's unreleased demo and the backing from Jackie Lomax's version with some of The Beatles playing)
- Obladi Oblada take 4 (passed over on the White Album SDE in favour of take 3. This features extra overdubs of horns, bass and percussion. Not the same as the demix on Evolver)
- Not Guilty (included unedited on the White Album SDE but in a sloppy mix with buried vocals and lead guitar. Here those have been boosted and the bass guitar centred)
- Hey Jude take 9 (heard partially in the short feature film "Music!")
- Revolution 1 (passed over on the White Album SDE in favour of a less complete mix. Here there are many additional overdubs, too many to list. This mix is different both from Evolver and The Movement You Need.
