Re: TAXMAN (revised mix + Rain + more)
I didn't even think that Taxman was really that hard to mix.
Interested in any/all Bootlegs. Sometimes I make my own.

Re: TAXMAN (revised mix + Rain + more)
Thanks guys, and remember that these were done from regular stereo. Imagine what is possible with access to 4, 5 or 6 discrete hirez tracks?
So, my expectations for the upcoming official remix are very high, and if it doesn't sound staggeringly good then something has gone seriously wrong.

Re: TAXMAN (revised mix + Rain + more)
I hate the phrase "a spanner in the works" can we change that to "a Giles in the works"?
Actually I don't think the Revolver SDE album mixes will be that awful this time. Weird, confusing and frustrating yes, but not objectively awful (to most). I'm sure the mixes will be bathed in Giles' special blend of tricky-dicky digi-plugery but whatever. Apparently a lot of people like that and a thousand Hoffman Beatards can't be wrong.
We can play "spot the open fader" because every SDE remix has at least a couple tracks with a little something extra not meant to be heard. How generous of Master Giles.
The outtakes will be amazing I'm sure. It appears Sam Okell is the one that does the outtakes and he presents them as is.

"
- You Won't See Me
I've done both these before but improved separation means better mixes. I love Ringo's drum fills on the latter"
Yeah, but the left side guitar separation and volume is also vastly improved relative to ABRACADABRA!

Thanks again Lord!
You Won't See Me is a vast improvement, awesome work!
Think the volume of the rythm guitar in Taxman on the left chanel is a bit high, it hurts a bit on headphones!

Giles in the works? <-----you mean Giles is from Spain?Engonoceras wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 2:23 am I hate the phrase "a spanner in the works" can we change that to "a Giles in the works"?

Spot The Open Fader <-----a carnival game that is like Whack-A-Mole but Giles hid all the mallets
The outtakes <----- Whatever Giles 'has' has just arrived too late to not be eclipsed by what Lord Reith has just demonstrated. Hopefully, Giles won't sweat the small shit. The technology IS the flux and its versatility is limited only by the user! Giles also has an ever-shrinking window of opportunity to offer his job to Lord Reith. Otherwise, he will soon know the difference between CORPORATE loyalty and BEATLEGDB loyalty. I am already hailing this moment as a Triumph because what I suspected is now confirmed. You(Engonoceras) have a very funny sense of humor!
Congratulations...EVERYONE!
