Anyone know where this is from? What was it filmed for? I love the 1st early version of 'My Brave Face'. I've never seen or heard any of this before.

How have I never seen this before? Wow!

The incredibly Beatle-esque version is amazing. It's on a couple of the multi disc boot collections. Just hearing it really makes you wish that Macca had gone with Elvis's arrangements and production.MarkRJones1970 wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 3:11 pm Anyone know where this is from? All of this video is from the Flowers In The Dirt Sessions done at Hog Hill Studio, Sussex, England 1987 & 1988.
All of this comes from the Flowers Archives Deluxe DVD, what this person did was combine all the video from 1987 & 1988 into one video.

Ah. I'm afraid Macca's archival sets are sadly well out of my price range.B-ED wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 5:14 pm All of this video is from the Flowers In The Dirt Sessions done at Hog Hill Studio, Sussex, England 1987 & 1988.

From the wiki I notice this:
Anyone know the backstory regarding these tensions?
Were they mainly creative differences?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flowers_in_the_DirtMcCartney's then manager, Richard Ogden, confided at the time to Beatles historian Mark Lewisohn that the relationship between Costello and the former Beatle was "not entirely harmonious" and that at points McCartney had gone as far as to rant at him regarding Costello's attitude and approach to the sessions.
