This is both the afternoon rehearsal and then the evening broadcast from February 16th 1964. For some reason there was a geometric distortion on a couple of the cameras that made The Beatles look short and fat, so I went through and - shot by shot - adjusted the aspect ratio to make it look normal. I shared this a long time ago with a few people and then it was promptly booted, and though i never saw the boot they probably ruined it... so here is the pristine original.
Format is 29.97i mpeg2

Thank you for this one- I don't think I ever saw this, so it is an exciting day.

Thanks LR, for all of these wonderful videos! The quality & sound is superb on all of them. They all downloaded perfectly onto my tablet, except these 2 Ed Sullivans. They play as audio only with the message "Can't play video - Video codec not supported". Were these posted using a different method than the other ones? Thanks.

Much appreciated! I've spent a lot of time trying to improve the audio of the Miami broadcast, but as you are aware sources are lacking the higher frequencies. Ironically, the audio of the rehearsal is far superior! What sources did you use for the Miami broadcast? I've used the legit Sullivan remaster, because the bootlegs all seem too hissy. Also, how could the network screw up the second part of the broadcast, badly, with the levels on "I Saw Her Standing There." ?
