I think on the True Masters ( 1999 Geritol DPRO-79973-1 -4) set, disc 4, they are in stereo. They need to be re-eq'd and fixed up, but they seem like stereo to me.Moptop wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 11:49 amOh that's fine ... actually I'm looking for suggestionsmaul wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:43 am a graphic recap of Get Back compilation sources:
What a brilliant and clear reprecentation.
It is embarrassing to ask a question / make a suggested change, but absolutely no disrespect intended.
Under Compilation 1 you have included the E69742 / 'Sunday' Acetate material , which contains somewhat different material. So when looking at the final table it shows 1. WBCN , Acetate, and Tape rows , but it is not the same material.
Is it worth separating it out as 1b or 1.5, to highlight the alternate tracks? With possible acetate and tape sources.
Hopefully, with a GB Acetate being sold last year there will be a new source for compilation #2 in the near future.
If I got it, I sum up too much don't highlighting comp 1,5 and you suggest to create another new row for 1,5
actually I had made other additional charts to explain better compilations details, i.e:
adding a 1,5 row improve precision but somewhat confuses a little ...I'm puzzled

Yes they are, if you read comment it's specified that the so called "John Barrett's Reel" (in Mono) possibly have nothing to do with 'real' John Barrett Tapes (the ones contained in True Masters (1999 Geritol) in Stereo.vinylwall wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 10:41 pm maul, in your chart for the Oldies compilation, you list the John Barrett tapes as being in mono. It may be another source or a Mono Fold-Down of the original Stereo John Barrett Tapes

VIGO 109 needed for patches for IMP-N-036 (WBCN acetate) - see MJ1808 for the combination
FL-031-CD is a new source for Rumi's tape.
Re: Time to exhume the Core - May be familiar to some
comp 1 and 1,5 tape source appeared in Singing the blues and Ob la di ob la da vinyl before Celloloid Rock.

The Cavern Tapes Circa 1962 (CT62-2)
Would that be a good source as That Magic Feeling suggests The Ultimate Collection volume 1 (YD) although cleaned up had earlier fades compared to the previous CD?

Re: Time to exhume the Core - May be familiar to some
Thanks for compiling this new "Core." Here are a few discs from the "Missing and therefore wanted" list:
Can You Hear Me (JFC): hxxps://we.tl/t-dFi7rFauAP
Rumi Tape and More: hxxps://we.tl/t-ja4F7ROPzB
(this one came out earlier this year on Tarantura's fake "Melvin" label... fwiw, it's a straight digtal copy of the earlier "JAP-1" release of this material)
Make As Much Noise As You Like (FLO): hxxps://we.tl/t-f1v5EwRPQm
We'd Lie to Carry On: hxxps://we.tl/t-W8QvelLovW
(Note: this isn't the JFC original but a copy of that disc later issued by Secret Garden)
Also, from your "upgrades and additionally 'needed' boots:
Take It Off (HMC): hxxps://we.tl/t-rkaDKOBuVK
Tell Me What You See: hxxps://we.tl/t-CX2bKhU12h
(Note: this one might be a bit dodgy. It's a "ruudcash" rip I found somewhere on the net years ago)

Dang... beats me. It's my rip. I must've screwed it up somehow... give me another few minutes and I'll get a link up with no PW. Sorry.Suzy Parlourphone wrote: ↑Thu Dec 02, 2021 6:05 pmThank you for these! Do you know if there is a password to unzip Make As Much Noise As You Like?
