For the Fake Stereo Y&T Album should have the Butcher Cover
The True Stereo of Y&T Album should have the Trunk Cover
Hope a Latter True Stereo Stereo Can be found
I think Capitol revised the Album for Capitol Record Club, &
I think in the 80's the LP went true Stereo Can be found, on regular releases
Someone I'm sure must know
Awesome Rips, either way

Yes, the first Y&T LP issues in the ‘60s (known as “v1”) had the 3 fake stereo tracks, while the revised Record Club issue (and all tape copies) are “v2” with all tracks in true stereo… all later reissues of Y&T on vinyl are the same “v2” with all tracks in real stereo (such as this rip from our friend Vee-Jay).jpgrcat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 10:43 pm For the Fake Stereo Y&T Album should have the Butcher Cover

So if someone (say me for example) has a Y&T with the paste over trunk photo and Butcher underneath, that would be a V1 then? Because it literally is a Butcher?
Cheers

I used to own 'Yesterday And Today' Stereo Version One on the Apple Label
Not sure when the LP's changed to full Stereo or what year
My guess could be 1979-1981 period, or the time, the CD's,
came out, 1987/8 & Capitol, changed the US LP''s a different catalog numbers
I think the Orange Capitol, may been Version 1,
either the Purple or Rainbow, may have changed
There is a difference with the 3 Lennon tracks, between the 2 versions
