Re: Best Youtube converter/downloader "A must have question"

It's a little tedious, but I have put together a system now and have managed to downloaded several oldies so far, thanks in part to the guy on SH with the 'It Was 60 years Ago Today' thread postings. Quite a few there I have always wanted, but was not likely to go out and buy complete old recordings...

Re: Demographics of the forum

Why is the 71 to 80+ section in bold? Is it because we '18' are in 'Run out Groove' of life! LOL! I think you have that backwards, unfortunately, lol. Re: Best Youtube converter/downloader "A must have question"

Okay I got it to work. The command for downloading just the best audio is: (yt-dlp.exe path) -f 140 (url of video) thanks for the suggestion! Not to be a bother, again, lol, but could you, or some kind soul, post an exact complete 'cmd line' example for downloading just the best audio from a 'you t...

Re: Demographics of the forum

Wilfrid Brambell, born in 1912 was 52 when they made A Hard Day's Night... When I first discovered that I was like, What the .......? Wilfrid looked quite a bit older, and I was always somewhat amazed to see him scamper down the street as fast as he did in one scene, lol. I'll be joining the oldest...

I LIKE it! I would be extremely happy if there was a way to make most of the fairly good quality BBC and Sessions recordings sound like that. Thanx. :)

Re: Who do you think is the best-sounding Beatles tribute band?

1964-The Tribute: If they are the same group of guys I saw a few years back, and if the Paul character has gotten his voice back, they would be well up there, though some are getting a bit long in the tooth, lol. The 'Paul' could do really incredible various inflections of Paul's voice. Fab Four is ...
