I have a Windows folder question.

Post by mojofilter »

I have two folders on two drives with the same files in them (backup). When I add a folder to one drive, it is automatically alphabetized. When I add the same folder to the other drive, it shows up at the end, and I have to press F5 to refresh, then it shows up alphabetized. Does anyone know what box I may have left unchecked somewhere for the sort actions to be different for one folder? Thanks in advance.

That is the way all of my folders work, Onedrive or normal Microsoft folders. I didn't think there was a way to change that.

I do 1 of 2 things:
- back out of the folder and then return
- double click the name (at the top) and it will re-alphabetize top to bottom or bottom to top

Not sure if this helps or not, just a general knowledge thing I guess
