The Complete Beatles 1

Post by Krussell2021 »

I've just seen this on CDJapan:

https://cdsvinyljapan.com/en-gb/product ... pify_email

Is this worth getting? Does anybody know anything about this series of CDs?

I hope I've put my query on the correct forum.

Many thanks.

Eternal Grooves put out some well presented discs but there’s rarely anything on them that’s not already been compiled before. I don’t know the full track list of the Beatles disc you provide the link for, but Eternal Grooves started a Stones series in January on what looks like similar lines.

Juno Records in the U.K. stock some of their releases:

To be honest, I doubt that there is anything on the Beatles disc that you won’t be familiar with.

Many thanks Bumblebee and thanks for the link to Juno Records. Perhaps there is more track information there.

I did see the similar Stones set as well. Wonder if it's worth collecting.

Juno don’t have that Beatles disc up yet. I do have the Doors set they did called Perception which is intelligently put together, well presented and a good listen although all of the tracks are out there already.

I can’t comment on the Stones series, but you might be able to get an idea from the track list posted by Juno. Incidentally, I got the Perception disc from CD Japan where it was slightly cheaper than Juno, even with international shipping.

Many thanks. Yes, shipping can be the killer, but postage is generally expensive these days.

Juno has only got the Stones 1 and 5, but perhaps they'll get the others.

Tracklisting is posted here - nothing to get excited about at all - Hamburg, Decca session, 1962 stuff . This series is seems to be aimed at new fans of the Beatles and/or Beatlegs
