Although now in the UK we are supposed to refer to it as the Springtime Holiday, not the Easter Holiday, as it upsets some foreigners that have come to live here!

I've never ever found that to be true. It is a load of crap made up by the PC brigade who just want to do away with Easter and Christmas. If you actually ask any foreigner on the street if they are offended by it, I guarrantee you that the answer will be "No, why would I be?"

Cadbury's website this morning...
Easter- Easter - Easter.
I could understand why, in the interests of marketing, they might want to make their eggs less specifically about a Christian festival - but it's pretty dumb to get upset about it and blame 'foreigners'. For one thing, Cadbury iteslf is foreign owned, but in any case, it's quite obviously Cadbury who decide what to call their products, not 'foreigners'. Please stop this stupidity.

Nobody says there's not room for more than one religion and the only people claiming they can't say Easter are the right wing newspapers and GBeebies viewers.
Ramadan falls on Easter once every 30 years apparently, hardly the end of civilisation as we know it!
