I got mine around the same time, for about $5 each. And yes, they haven't been played much. It was mostly available elsewhere, better organised.

As you recognise, these uploads are older discs, being shared for completists, nostalgics and, I suggested, masochists. I have had a couple of messages from forumites "strongly suggesting" I upload particular discs from the past year or two.

Sigh.

Tranisitions between tracks was a big thing in the 80's. I remember the band Sigue Sigue Sputnik offering to sell the spaces between tracks on the LP for advertising. If you remember correctly TAKRL started it on bootlegs back in the 70's with Bowie's Soft in the middle having an overload.

Thanks for all the vintages it takes me back. :D

PS if anyone has Soft in the middle or any of its incarnations I would greatly appreciated an upload. My old copy had a fault on side 2 and was unplayable. Never really heard sie 2. :D

Fridays come back. Thanks General.
They were very expensive. We have all paid more than enough.

Thank you GP ! Just keep uploading the stuff you want. It is everybody's choice to pick it or not. It's free, members are not charged for what they download, so why complain ? It is like members requesting new boots - even before their release - and complaining if it is not fast enough :( As though we owe them anything.

Agreed.

I sometimes check the profiles of those who ask for brand new releases, and most times their posts are a long list of ask, ask, ask.... And barely even a thanks.
