How's this for a wish. I get a time machine. Go back to May of 1960 and give it to Johhny Gentle so he can record all his shows that month, and then get it back at the end of the month, and share it here with you guys.
I do have a signed copy of his book Johnny Gentle and the Beatles. I always find these early years of the Beatles facinating. Sad to hear that he has passed.

He had an important part to play in their story, as the reason they went on their first ever proper tour.
Who knows, if that tour hadn't whetted their appetite for more they may have simply drifted apart and never gone to Germany.
Didn't know he was that old. Sad to hear of his passing, but he had a long full life. Can't ask for more than that. RIP Johnny.
