Yes, I tried rebalancing the original sound but George's guitar is non existent and John's voice too loud. But the Karlaplan performances of those songs are almost completely identical, so make a great match. Ringo even seems to do the same drum fills!
Lord, can I ask, what is your favorite beatle chuck berry cover?

Good one! In the Star Club version both John and George play solos and John is in his usual aggressive Chuck Berry mode - I think in the Star Club tape the only Berry song where John is not the lead guitarist is Roll Over Beethoven - but George seems absolutely possessed. This is what the punks thought rock and roll was.
