I wish he hadn't. That noise has always ruined the song for me. To this day it is one of the Beatles songs I don't play.
Also, someone on SHF pointed out that the loud, low brassy instrument that comes in halfway through It's All Too Much is actually a "Tubon" an early synthesizer. There's a photo of Macca playing it.
