Re: What I want in '24
I think we'll probably get Let It Be this year and that will knock anything else off the schedule that might have been considered (like a Rubber Soul SDE). They can only seem to handle one release per year. It seems that LIB has been signed off by everybody and is ready to go, commentaries and all. They'll probably spend the next six months filming and compiling extras.
I'd rather have almost anything else though. Seen bloody LIB ten times and after Get Back I'm thoroughly sick of that period now.

The quality is not good at all for an official release.silver_2000 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 03, 2024 4:33 amGaumont Cinema, Bournemout Full tape! Apple owns is I think!Lord Reith wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 9:12 pm Let It Be bluray (with extras)

You mean you saw one concert 8 times, ha! Minor variations.
But that's great, I only saw him once, 30 years ago...

Mind Games (Deluxe) is probably what I'm most looking forward to, any new lennon content is a win in my book (shame the STINYC set never materialized though)

Re: What I want in '24
Ha! I got that a lot in December!
There were actually some minor variations on the set list. "She´s a woman" and "Birthday" were replaced by "Drive my car"/"Day tripper" or "I saw her standing there"; or he would do "Quennie eye" instead of "New". After the first Belo Horizonte concert he omitted a few songs as well; "Fuh you" and ""You never give me your money"/"She came in through the bathroom window".
But that aside, they´re all different experiences in other ways. In two of the concerts, I watched from a different spot than what I usually do, which gives a new perception of the whole. There´s the weather, which adds a lot to the atmosphere; the final concert in São Paulo was under heavy rain, for example. There´s the travels, all the different cities with very different urbanistic approaches, even the stadiums.
But, yes, both Paul and Ringo are very tight regarding their shows. It would be nice if they allowed a little more space for the unpredictable or exploration of their material, but it´s such a wonderful show and it´s such an excitement seeing them closely; I could get a lot more of this before I felt it was enough.
