Although I should really pick a George song (seeing as I, and a host of friends, reimagined his "All Things Must Pass" album in time for its proper 50th Anniversary last November, raising money for his Material World Charitable Foundation), my choice is "of the time it was really relevant to me".
Strawberry Fields Forever
Released on my birthday in 1967.. I was disgusted that Englebert kept it off the top of the charts. I have forgiven him though, at least he isn't Ed bl00dy Sheeran!

At least in the movie Yesterday Sheeran admitted he is "Salieri" to L&M's "Mozart". Made me feel a lot better about him. Also it was good that he made fun of himself by suggesting Hey Jude should be called "Hey Dude".AndInTheEnd wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 1:36 am

If I really had to choose I'd have to say" And Your Bird Can Sing". I never get tired of that song.

Haha, I actually recorded it from Freeview a few weeks ago, but have yet to watch it - maybe I should (and, ok, I'll try not to mutter obscenities under my breath when he appears!!!).Lord Reith wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 12:56 amAt least in the movie Yesterday Sheeran admitted he is "Salieri" to L&M's "Mozart".
