What can I use to easily split a video into parts manually?

I have a rip of a TV show that, inexplicably, was ripped with eight episodes in one file. The chapters do not correspond to the episodes exclusively. What can I use that's free (or very inexpensive) to trim them into episodes? Something like Audacity, (where I can drag and drop to select parts to export) is what I'm looking for. Thanks.

I use Shotcut for all video work. A great, free package that allows cuts, joins, fades, audio edits and all manner of filters and export options.

If you're using windows Microsoft Clipchamp is easy and free.

Also semi-related so I'll put this here unless anyone needs it, but if you ever need to download a youtube video and export all the chapters split, use Youtube DLP with the operator "--split-chapters", it's saved me a lot of time
