Re: Peter Jackson demos MAL on Day Tripper
It's not exactly accurate just yet: the isolation that supposedly contains only John's vocal starts with Paul's "Got a good reason..." Likewise, the isolation where PJ says he's not sure whether it's Paul or George appears to be a mix of the two.
But impressive, nonetheless.

In the video(2:31:00-2:32:00)Please someone explain Mr. PJ that for some songs before 1966, the Beatles used to record vocals twice. One vocal(s) in each track.

PJ: "I don´t know it´s my ears are not good enough for this, but other people can have our Experts and I can hum, I can only hand it over to them to uh tell us exactly what happened on this track..."
PS. You´re welcomed PJ.

Better off listening to the podcast, the audio bitrate is bad now on youtube (50kb/s). Besides, unless you enjoy watching middle aged men talk there's no reason to watch the visuals.niallquinn wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 3:58 pm EDIT, didn;t realise you can watch them all on YT Doh...

Awesome demonstration. I liked that he also showed the harmony separation they're working on.

The most impressive thing for me was the drum separations. They are really extaordinarily good, way better than the competition.PaulsBrokenaGlass wrote: ↑Thu Dec 14, 2023 10:46 pm Awesome demonstration. I liked that he also showed the harmony separation they're working on.

Re: Peter Jackson demos MAL on Day Tripper
They should do Audio 5 of everything while Jackson separates the same(everything)!
There should be no official remixes. Enough is enough. There are simply too many visionaries HERE to let any of them get away.
A whole new era lay ahjead of us if they would market each song title as a bundle of mixable stems. The cream will rise and the rocks will sink!
But OFFICIAL totems first!! Diversity would prevail. All mixes would belong to Apple and many might become retail commodities. Many would be sold as clearance , limited ed, etc. Or ANY other designation. Objective----->Contrary Imagination! It's better than miming.
