I just discovered this neat little chrome extension called "Modify href" that chan change anything in urls to anything else...

So I set it to replace hxxps to https in the options menu, and now one click and all of the links are clickable again; no more cut and paste for me!

Selfish and silly as the guard is in place to prevent backtracking of links to this forum. When you click a link, the target website is informed about the source of the link. That's not a good idea.

Here is a solution!
It's for the more tech savvy but It does make things easier when downloading many files...
Also install "Referer Control" extention:

And configure it as such: (This will block HTML referer from this site from being sent back to 3rd parties)
When clicking on ANY link on the forum, the HTML referer will be blocked:
