It's so weird, are the US charts all that different from the UK? Taylor Swift is dominant on both, maybe The Beatles gotta finish "Grow Old With Me" and land at JFK, maybe that'll get them a US top ten

Got To Get You into my life was number one in Canada in 1976...
so there are three Beatles number one hits since the double sided number one hit of the Long and Winding Road/For you Blue in the USA in 1970

For You Blue should have been on 1967-70 instead of I Me mine

This is also great because the naysayers were predicting that sales had fallen off a cliff after a few days and that it wouldn't get to the top. So that's one in the eye for them.

I have a vivid memory of being at a carnival in 1976, and that song came on through the speakers they had strung up.stereoman33 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 1:05 am Got To Get You into my life was number one in Canada in 1976...

The Beatles are #1 on the Billboard "digital song sales" chart.silver_2000 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 11, 2023 12:55 amIt's so weird, are the US charts all that different from the UK? But on the Billboard global 200, they are only at 152. And they're not even in the US Hot 100.

Re: Beatles Number One in UK
I can confirm this, the Wikipedia article was recently updated stating such. And yesterday (the 10th) happened to be my 52nd birthday. What a gift!
