I've put in more than one search where all the words get ignored. I think we should kill that list.
She's a drag. A well-known drag. We turn the sound down on her and say rude things.

It annoys me too. That's partly why I use weird titles for my threads.

I couldn't make it ignore me but here is what I got.
I have had experiences recently. I hardly ever search!

It really depends on what you're searching for. By default short, common words are ignored (a, an, the, is, are, we, etc.). So if you're trying to find "all you need is love" you're going to have a hard time because it will ignore most (if not all) the words. I think there's an administrator option that can be turned on to allow short words to be searched, but then that makes the size of the forum significantly larger because of the indexing on all those words.

But even a word like Revolver is blocked.

Pro tip: Use a search engine (like Google) and type in the web address and your query. (for example: "beatlegdb.com revolver") Usually works wonders for me.
So many websites have terrible search indexes. Sometimes looking elsewhere shows you things you wouldn't have found otherwise. I've discovered so many listings on Amazon that I can't get through Amazon's search, but have found through Google/Bing/etc.
Otherwise, you might want to search a specific song. i.e. Eleanor Rigby instead of Revolver. Might be helpful too. That or just go page-by-page and ctrl-f and search for a keyword that way. Last resort - read everything.

All search engines have this problem though. If I get really stuck I try and think of a word or phrase that would be part of the post, like "Holland" plus also the name of the person who posted it if i can remember. Make sure you've got the advanced setting up.
