I was going to post a link so you could read the comments as there was a large amount of scepticism, but the post has been removed which to me speaks volumes about its authenticity, as for my title I didn't have my glasses on.

The guy claims he copied it to CD-R. So he can prove his case by simply posting a 10-second clip of audio from beyond the known three minutes - something different which we've never heard. If it's genuine, he can do that.

There was a 'James Rosen' who contacted me around the turn of the century to see whether I would be interested in purchasing a copy of John Lennon's personal diaries. When I asked for a sample, he never replied.

In this day and age, it is hard to tell how many people have a Vee Jay record and fake I saw one online 2,000, and was 70s counterfeit 95% of things can be faked these days...
