How to raise the interest level in something you’re selling - claim that it solves a mystery, albeit by ignoring the all pervading evidence that’s been freely available for years:

The Sgt Pepper Mystery
Re: The Sgt Pepper Mystery
If you don’t have the £5,000 asking price handy, here’s a link to the listing which helpfully includes 29 shots of the contents.
It’s a nice looking set but really, £5,000? That’s a tad optimistic to say the least.

I wouldn't pay $5.00. But I don't collect any more!

Re: The Sgt Pepper Mystery
Still interesting to see after all these years. I remember reading about 'Sessions' in the Beatles Monthly magazine. It went from an upcoming release to being scrapped in a couple of months. I even went looking for it in 'Our Price' one day when I was in my home town centre. Obviously, it wasn't there but then I found a bootleg at a record fair a few month later. The 1st one I bought had the full colour cover with fake Brian Southall sleeve notes on the back but then, about a year later, I saw another copy which used the cover shown in this press release. So I bought that too and still own both copies.
