Thanks for posting The Beatles Forest Hills Tennis Stadium (King Kong Records FH 1058),
I have been trying to find an audio file for this concert for years.
I thought most likely there was no audio for this show, and I am glad that I was wrong.

Thank you for the opportunity to hear these vinyl boots. Brings back great memories. There was a vinyl boot in this book The Beatles Album: 30 Years of Music and Memorabilia Geoffrey Giuliano that had a track titled Butcher Cover. I don't have the book handy but I think album was just called Beatles. Just curious if this sounds familiar to anyone. From memory the cover user the same photo and design here

I've got the same book, bought when it was new, and mine has ALSO fallen apart!

I've highlighted the titles that have been shared in red. Pretty impressive after only a week.

It's interesting that with one exception all of the Paul/Wings titles are still outstanding. Were these harder to come by back in the day, or was nobody interested in buying them?

I had Raving On on tape once. If I recall correctly the three live Buddy Holly week songs appeared elsewhere on CD but I forget which.

Hi,

Sorry about that - I had no idea it was you, or that I was shooting your own book back at you. lol. Shows the regard in which I hold those books.

Cheers.

You're welcome, but be aware there's nothing actually from Forest Hills on that boot. It's a mix of Shea, Stockholm, BBC Radio, and (mimed) Hullabaloo performances.

Fixing A Hole had much better binding, and has withstood the rigors of time.

In my case, I was only collecting boots including material covered in my earlier books (through 1 April 1970). Which meant a lot of John LPs containing "Yer Blues", etc. and nothing of Paul's.

That's spot on. My copy of Fixing A Hole is still in one piece too.

Thanks for your response.
Would you know if the audio does exist for Forest Hills Tennis Stadium?
