Go on then.. Seriously though, although it's way out of the reach of most people, it's still a relatively modest price considering its location and history..

Why it's not selling I'm not sure...
Where does Sean live now? One would think he'd keep some small part of the place.

Re: Is Yoko Selling The Dakota..?
I wouldn't be surprised. It's a lot to take care of. Heck, when I turn 70, in a few years, my wife and I'll be looking to downsize our living quarters and move the heck out of L.A. We've done the dance, walked the walk, played the biggest stages, zested our elbows with jesters.
20mil is a bunch. But we can break it down to the ridiculous. 1000 of us go in on it and that 20mil becomes 20k. Also, that 20mil is the asking. I'd come in at 15mil since the thing ain't selling.
Once every fifteen years, each of us purchasers would stay for two weeks in John Lennon's old pad.
The rest of the time, it would be available for rent. 1mil for two weeks. We'd make our money back in ten years easy.
Think about it. I'm in. Waiting for 999 more.

Re: Is Yoko Selling The Dakota..?
The appartments for sale are #82-84.
Yoko/John lived at #72-74.
However, Yoko bought 3 other apartments in the Dakota, for storage and guests. She recently sold at least one of them for $800.000. So this was probably a 'storage' apartment. Other apartments in the building sell typically around $15 mil, so $25 mil is not bad for 2 apartments........
