HI
Was the 2012 yellow submarine songtrack remastered?
Just been on the net and there seems to be differing opinions.

I'm not aware of the Songtrack being remastered in 2009 or 2012. That seems pointless to me since it was a modern remix. People tend to say things online with little or no evidence. If anyone can prove please post.

Now, I'm curious now about the iTunes version. We KNOW they use/request better mastering and from what I've heard their mastering is really good. We know the iTunes version of "Anthology" Vol 1 has many MUCH improved tracks. They mainly fixed some of the more shrill and thin sounding tracks. I didn't hear any obvious differences in Vol 2 and Vol 3 listening through the iTunes page. Anthology 2 and 3 definitely could use some remastering/remixing it has some really wonky sounding tracks.

Someone should do a detailed study of any post 2009 remastering.

I also wonder about the stuff at some of these High Def audio sites. Someone should make a list of what's available.
