I've seen these sporadically appear online as part of the Copyright Extension protocols. '62 through '65, '69 and '70 are all out there. Does anyone know if sets were released for '66 through '68? Or for beyond '70?
Was the 1966 set that 36 CD set of live recordings from that year?

Re: Bob Dylan 50th Anniversary Collections
Yes, the 1966 period was covered by the box set of recordings from the 1966 World Tour, and also the Bootleg Series Vol.12 'The Cutting Edge' 18CD deluxe box set of studio sessions from 1965-66.
In 1967 Dylan didn't tour, or record anything apart from the informal 'Basement Tapes' which were all released on the Bootleg Series Vol.11 'The Basement Tapes Complete' 6CD deluxe set.
Then 1967-69 was covered by the Bootleg Series Vol.15 'Travellin' Through, 3CDs. I think there were no outtakes from 1968, and the outtakes form the 1969 sessions were covered by the very limited, copyright-securing 50th Anniversary Collection 1969 2CD set

1970-71 was covered by the Bootleg Series Vol.10 'Another Self Portrait' 4CD set and any extras were on the very limited 50th Anniversary Collection 1970 3CD set.
The next period that the Bootleg Series covers isn't until the 1975 Rolling Thunder era (Bootleg Series Vol.5 'Live 1975' 2CD from 2002, and much later on they released a 14CD set ('The Rolling Thunder Revue - the 1975 Live Recordings')
If it helps this is a pretty good sessionography:

These are the ultra-rare, copyright-securing 50th Anniversary sets - some were CD only, some were vinyl only, and the 1965 one was digital download-only to subscribers who ordered the 18CD 'Cutting Edge' Deluxe set from bobdylan.com

Re: Bob Dylan 50th Anniversary Collections
Thanks for breaking it down year by year. I'm up to date on the SDE's of the Bootleg Series. The 50th Anniversary collections fill in bunches of holes. The one I finally got today is the 14CD Rolling Thunder Set in FLAC. I had it in Mp3, but, you know.....
The website links also helped flesh out what's going on with future releases and how everything so far fits into Dylan's sessions through his career.
The Rolling Stone article hints that the well may be drying up. But not before two, perhaps three more volumes of the Bootleg Series hit the shelves.

This is now up to Sony, since they took over the rights of recordings.DeeBee wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 7:08 pm "...the source says that a copyright-protection release for the 1973 Pat Garrett
