PIXELDRAIN - a promising solution?

Post by O1Ghungary »

I would like to recommend this free file sharing website to your attention.

I think this looks like a very-very promising solution to all the problems.

We could forget the one week expiration dates, also could forget the split of large files and DVDs.

What do you think?

Personally I don't like the idea of people making money out of our uploads. There'd also be privacy concerns with people having to pay for storage.

Yeah, I agree... but it's free. At least as much as the others... only here the storage space is unlimited, the file size is allowed up to 18GB and the availability is at least 60 days.

Looks good to me. The seven-day expiry is a bit disappointing somentimes, if you've just missed something.

For me, I upload using my Google Drive but this one does look better than some of those out there.

Always good to have more options anyway. Thanks for the heads up.

As long as there's no helpful librarians.
I will have no problem not going to abandoned shopping malls when they're all empty.
As virtual climate change models prepare for a more arid form of streaming. I will let my curious
frugality test the promises of convenience. I've looked at clouds from both sides now.
I will try it on my next upload!
Open the pod bay doors, HAL!
Thank you!

Easyupload seems better
10gb for 30 days, appears to be no restrictions.
compared to pixeldrains daily download cap at 10 gb and the speed (if i read right) goes down after that.
* I thought about that when I noticed the single file re-up of the The Beatles Years (Westwood One) which are roughly 17 gb each year.
That's why i found it on Guitars101 and I uploaded my 62-70 VHS a few months ago as a test (mine was 4 gb) and everybody who downloaded it seemed happy..

You can actually buy a WeTransfer account for one year (billed 10$ monthly) and hold 1 Terabyte of data for a year. I did that for awhile.

I'd rather not use my Google Drive.
