A picture in the new McCartney photo book reminded me to a spinoff from the Dustbin records tread on the old bootleg zone and a topic on:
https://beatlesblogger.com/2011/07/30/t ... h-records/
There are more ways to find out what records were owned by the Beatles or knew of for example:
Lennon and Ray Coleman playing Blues Rag and Hollers 10-04-1965.
Then I think there are even ‘soundproofs’ John and George talking while Herb Albert & The Tijuana Brass- The Lonely Bull is playing ( Alf tapes Listening and Talking) or 'I'd Love To Fall Asleep And Wake Up In My Mammy's Arms' by Fred Douglas, as heard on Two Virgins.
And for some Beatles with records it’s highly unlikable they even noticed the disks…
Aldershot 09-12-1961.
And perhaps in the same ‘key’ :
Paul end 1967

In return a wish list….
Reporting '66 , 20-12-1966 perhaps not a record at all.

Nice photos. I wish we knew exactly what was in their record collections.

Re: A Beatles record collection / Beatles with records
according to Wikipedia:
On the original vinyl release, after the record needle pans across the run-out groove to the lock groove, there is a recording of Harper saying "Hup hup" over and over again. Some subsequent CD releases have included this recording as a separate track, "Hup Hup Spiral".
Well before Sgt Pepper then ....
And there seems to be a collaboration with Paul and Linda : One of Those Day's in England, 1977

As a fan of Don Van Vliet (Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band) and obscure Electronic Music from the 1950s and 1960s I´m happy I found these photos of George and John.

Re: A Beatles record collection / Beatles with records
If I’m not mistaken that LP hadn’t been released in the UK at the time of that session/filming…I always thought it was the US pressing but apparently I was wrong. There are some LPS seen in the Get Back film as well
