Re: Ready Steady Go! (almost complete)
Aside from the lack of Beatles, it has a number of other strikes aginst it:
- poor picture quality
- PAL format only
- zero promotion
- high price tag
- a severely diminished market. This is not 1985 anymore. The market for this stuff is tiny. Even 300 copies was probably optimistic.

For those that want them, here are the Beatle extracts from the set. These are raw files cut strait out of the files.
Note the Nov. 27th 1964 appearance appears to have an poor interlacing authoring defect and the Around The Beatles program has been subjected to some very heavy handed noise reduction.

Most of my links are to OneDrive. However, OneDrive does impose a download limit and when this is reached displays a message that the files are deleted or have expired. Leave it a while and try again later.

Thanks for sharing the Beatles extracts.
I would love to see the full shows from this set.

It’s a pity Apple didn’t permit the inclusion of the Beatles in this set, then we would have had the most complete archive all under one roof. I would have certainly bought a copy. As it is we have a kind of half a job.Phil_Lip wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 11:05 am For those that want them, here are the Beatle extracts from the set. These are raw files cut strait out of the files.

By the way, Around The Beatles is completely unrelated to Ready Steady Go. The confusion seems to lie in the fact that Dave Clark stuck it out as a Ready Steady Go Special edition on VHS back in the 80’s but in fact there is no link.

Not quite completely unrelated. It was made by the same TV production company and in the same studio as RSG.harrythebannister wrote: ↑Tue Oct 24, 2023 9:38 am By the way, Around The Beatles is completely unrelated to Ready Steady Go. Re: Ready Steady Go! (almost complete)
Are any covers available for the Ready Steady Go! DVDs in this set?
It was such a limited release that I haven't been able to locate any artwork on the internet.
