This one is almost believable compared to the other ones.

Seems kind of sad to me that after all the REAL Beatles gave us that people still want more, and that "more" being fake stuff.

Genius and Magic can't be recreated by a machine.

But then, I'm old and grumpy and obsolete, and soon to be out of the way.

Who's that little old man?!!!

You can say the same thing performance-wise of imitation bands. We have all these recordings of The Beatles playing live concerts and stillllll people want to see four other people perform their music? Or what about all the things The Beatles officially released and stillll people look for unpublished recordings and other bootlegs? It's so arbitrary and hypocrite to draw the line in the sand at AI recreation. Plain old conservatism.

You make a good point. Tribute bands like Rain or The Fab Four put on great shows & are worth it for people who want that 'live' experience they maybe never got to see. (And the Beatles certainly never did songs like Strawberry Fields or Imagine live as a group)

Obviously it does cross a line if someone tried passing these off as being the authentic Beatles. (or Beatle recordings) But there are always jerks out there. And, so far, every AI creator I've seen has been pretty upfront & honest about what they're doing.

And if we get more good music out of it then hey, what's the problem?

Rather rude of me to come into an AI thread to bash AI...that 20th beer must have been one too many!

Sincerely, I apologize for being a jerk.

Not to mention bands like The Analogues who use practically all tricks in the book to perform the heavily produced studio works, so without so much trying to meet the show aspect of the mop tops or the rooftop image we would generally associate with a live performance. Instead just focusing on the musical complexity and also simply the problem of reproducing sounds made by much older instruments (akin to a medieval music ensemble).

It would be interesting to see the role of AI here, as it will be harder and harder for musicians to obtain access to obscurities like Melotrons, Moogs and Leslie speakers or simply musicians that can play a piccolo trumpet let alone be willing to tour with the band just to play Penny Lane every night…

Inspired by the the "Get Back" documentary recording the creator sang it in Paul style and swapped in Paul's AI voice.

We are through the looking glass kids.
Wonderful. Thanks for posting.

What do you call a fake pasta?
(an impasta!)
It doesn't sound bad.
All we need now is a contrivance removal algorithm.
It has the warmth of a wedding invitation made of cut up magazines and newspapers.
But, improvements are happening quickly. It's just scary since the entire industry is heading into a functionless existence.
Music used to be a headache to produce. Soon, all music will be automated. Talk about irony? Wait until the discovery of AI MONO!
(2+2=5???)
Tom Waits for no one...
