Dry REVOLVER Dry. The Single. Rain & Papperback Writer

I have always believed that the use of dubbing has prevented us from experiencing the greatness and delight of listening to the voices of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison, and even Starkey. Initially, such dubbing was done through live overdubs until the year 1965 and even 1966. But it wasn't until the album 'Revolver' that the team at EMI Studios discovered what they would call ADT (Automatic Double Tracking), thus creating dubbings that naturally differed from those of previous years.
This is a preview of the project I have been working on since even before the release of Revolver SDE, unmixing and remixing songs in order to be able to listen to the vocal parts without overdubs. In the case of the REVOLVER album, the idea is to listen to most of the album without overdubs and without ADT. Personally, I have enjoyed working on disassembling and assembling the songs. As a preview to the album, which I have named Dry Revolver Dry, I present to your consideration the first two songs that correspond to the Single and that were actually originally recorded before the EMI team used the ADT technique. However, Rain would eventually use the ADT technique, discarding one of the previously recorded vocals by John.

Someone privately wrote to me requesting the mix of Rain with the alternate unused vocal in the final version.
