If you could add a Vesta curry with sliced banana on top, then I'm in!

Peter that tells me you are a fellow Brit...at least half the members on here won't have heard of Vesta and three quarters will never have sampled the delights (tongue firmly in cheek here) of a Vesta curry.

I've pre-ordered mine through George Henry Lee's, along with a pair of chunky brown corduroys, a cable knit aran sweater and a giant nuclear orange suspended lamp shade.
I am assured that the uber edition is cancel culture proof, as it was conceived of in an age when people had innocent fun.

If you boiled the bag too long the Beef turned into chunks of MDF, which is interesting because Vesta curries pre-date MDF as a building material. They probably patented the recipe and made millions from home DIY projects born out of a dodgy dinner.

Our phones have been ringing off the hook with excited fans wanting to place their orders. To clear up some matters of confusion, here is a specially compiled FAQ:

Q: Does it come with Bluetooth?
A: No, but it comes with a blue doily to put your lava lamps and bowl of dinner mints on.

Q: Does it come with a facility for playing the vhs tapes?
A: No, but the tapes can be played on any one of the ten Yellow Submarine-themed VCRs available as an accessory.

Q: Is Mrs Beeton's cookery book suitable for vegetarians?
A: Certainly not. It is full of classic plain British food, brimming with lard, dripping and Spam.

Q: Do the lava lamps have a USB connection?
A: Yes, an optional USB lead is also available. However, you can't listen through headphones when this is plugged in.

Q: Is the 1960s dolly bird actually a real doll?
A: No, she is a proper girl with proper lady bits. The model may vary according to supply. However she is for display purposes only and any hanky panky will void your warranty.

Q: What kind of chair comes with the set?
A: The kind you sit on.

We hope this answers all your questions. Enjoy your beef curry!

Spam isn't British. Was introduced to the UK by the US troops in WWII.

Despite Monty Python's obsession making it seem to be a British staple most Brits prefer corned beef!
