Just saw this thread, I would warn anybody who wants to post these on YouTube, the copyright holders are cracking down very heavy on these types of videos, I run a Beatles channel, and often post Beatle videos, beatles songs..etc, but the only thing that ever got my channel a copyright strike was using one of these AI vocal covers, (Lennon singing yesterday).

Not personally a fan of the use of AI to imitate someone else's voice, especially when they're dead. I don't see the practical uses or the appeal at all.

I don't think any music has a practical use, as such. As for the appeal, that is apparent, evidenced by the huge appetite for this kind of thing. From my perspective, I love hearing the Beatles or The Beach Boys singing songs, and if I can hear their voices, or facsimiles of their voices singing new songs then that appeals to me.
