APPLE SLICES - the rarest of all Beatles records

This lp was a fan club release in the early-mid 70s. A track listing is hard to come by, but it debuted what was later booted as A Parlophone Rehearsal Session (aka the recording session for the fourth From Us To You programme) and some of the Beatles stuff that would appear on Indian Rope Trick.

Rarer even than Direct From Santa Claus and The Deccagones, does anyone have this album or even some more info about it? Or even - gasp - a rip of it?

I've never heard of this. Must be rare limited run item such early fan made disc(flexi?). Contrary, Santa and Deccagone have even reached to Japan when it came out -- I remember reading aticle/ad of them.

The "Parlophone Recording Session" version was not a flexi. It was a 10 inch release with a cover and black & white artwork. I am in the process of looking for mine. Something I don't keep with my other vinyl so it's stashed away with other 10 inch records and odd picture discs. Sorry for the teaser but I hope I can find it. I also hope I didn't give it away as I sometimes do with things I don't play anymore.

That's the artwork of what I had/have. The only difference being the label. Mine had the dog/gun artwork on the label.

I still have " From Us To You A Parlophone Rehearsal Session " . And i have the original Advertisement Flyer that came in the mail from " Barry " with the POBox # Los Angeles . It was $ 5.00 + One Dollar for postage . The back cover says " 1975 Drucken Auf Deutshland " " LMW 28IF " . Its a 10 Inch Mini LP.
The back cover also has the trax lists for both sides A + B . = From Us To You , Kansas City , Long Tall Sally , If I Fell , Boys , I'm Happy Just To Dance With You , Plus another Happy To Dance With You . Side B: I Should Of Known Better , Another I Should of Known Better , and another I Should of Known Better , Things We Said Today , Hard Days Night and From Us To You Version # 2 . As i remember the sound was O.K. Still glad i bought it when i lived in Arcadia Calif . I did buy more from " Barry " and a girl from Hollywood thru the mail . I met her at the Capitol Records Swap Meet Parking Lot !

I never found this one myself. I think one was on ebay last year.
