Mash-up idea – for those so inclined

It dawned on me that I'm Only Sleeping and Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite! have the same bopping-along feel, especially in the instrumental bits.
Anyone able to flesh that out?
(Hopefully I'm not sub-consciously channeling some LOVE mix or whatever...
)

Keys are reasonably close and tempos are close, but the rhythms are different and the chord structures very different. I am doubtful they could be brought together with much success, but maybe someone will surprise.

That's great! I was originally thinking of the similarity of the instrumental solo sections for each and them being combined (which you did not seem to do) but not the Sleeping beat with Kite lyrics, which you did!
So I got something extra
Please see what you can do with mashing only the instrumental bits and we'll expand from there if it works.
