How did you manage to copy it? I've tried for years to get a good rip from my cd but, as you said, because of the shape I never succeeded.

It'd given me a problem in the past, too, but I managed to back it up and put it away
... the question today was: Where did I put it away!?
So never mind, I thought, I'd try a fresh rip. I used an HP model dvd 550S-H01.
Although it was spinning loudly the entire time I managed to get a rip - even while using EAC secure mode
