I think Wings Over Europe should be released on it's own as well. I say this as someone who owns the Big Barn Set. Just leave out the deluxe book so people who bought the big one can have some sort of exclusive.

Just curious... did anyone else notice how bad those pressings are? Lots of surface noise, distortion and the needle jumps on the "louder" cuts.

That's the point. The bosses would prefer for the digital reproduction to cease altogether to make people buy the imperfect media. As for the quality control, it does not come cheap enough for them.

Which particular pressings are you referring to? I'll take a listen and see if it's a common thing.

On some of my pressings played on my good turntable - Bluebird has some issues - hoiwever played fine on miy other turntable............

Yes, Bluebird is completely distorted. The singles from Rock Show to Wonderful Christmastime (so far) are all unplayable, i.e. needle jumps.
