A while back Giles was talking about removing the limiting from drums. Maybe this is what he did with SSSS, because although the outtake sounds fine, the drums on the new mix don't sound limited any more.

That said, I compared the CD in the "Revolver" box to the streaming version on Spotify and they're the same. Could it be the vinyl "Revolver" box has a different mix (if there are, indeed, two different mixes)?
