Rutles Bootlegs
Re: Rutles Bootlegs
I've never heard any of this, except for "Cheese & Onions," from a Beatles bootleg LP years and years ago. Thanks for posting! I'd love to see the film/TV show, the one where Eric Idle interviews a member of the band while Apple employees run off with everything in the background . . .

Yeah, heard about this. "Indian Rope Trick". I think I heard a story where someone went up to Neil Innes and said that he stole a lost Lennon song called Cheese & Onions!

Re: Rutles Bootlegs
Man, I remember the day that movie was shown on television. I recorded the soundtrack off the TV speaker onto a cassette. It was the only way I could hear stuff like "Get Up And Go" until the CD came out. I got it on VHS later from a PBS station. It has the original sequence with Dan Aykroyd where he walks off camera and the sound effect is of him shooting himself. The version in the home video was a completely different take.
