Being a little bit confused....
The Beatles singles collection was in 1976 & 1978, to my knowledge, released in mono from Love Me Do to Get Back (as they originally was)
All tracks shared in this collection are stereo so what was the source for this collection?

I used to own this set(UK) but I can't remember if they were mono. The last time I ever looked through Beatles 45s in a retail location, nearly every one was in stock in BOTH versions. I am talking about Capitol Starline series in mid 80s. I would expect these to be mono if they were marketed in UK. Maybe Capitol was the only ones to press them all in stereo AND mono. But, Capitol never got involved with this product. I thought UK was strictly authentic in RE of vintage format. This might be an exception. Regardless, thanks for noticing!
Mrbeatleg bought one of everything, I think. I don't think this box was available in two versions!

I think that all later singles in this collection... from The Ballad Of John & Yoko to Sgt Pepper were issued in stereo but all UK singles up to Get Back was to my memory only issued in mono.
Perhaps someone who has the 'original green uk collection' from either 76 or 78 can upload them?

All the UK sets of singles were mono from Love Me Do thru Get Back. That included the individual issues , the various issues of the "green sleeves", the anniversary issues and the 2019 set. I'm pretty sure the only exception was a mistake on the "Yellow Submarine" single issued in the second series of "green sleeves", that used a stereo mix by mistake. Now it could have been the next series they re-issued but I know that one single had a stereo mix by mistake.
