Terrific mix, thanks heaps.
All I can say... this is stunningly good. Well done lad. RonLord Reith wrote: ↑Fri Aug 12, 2022 11:01 am I have redone Taxman and increased the cowbell a little and moved the bass guitar slightly to the right. I think this sounds nicer I hope you agree.
But wait, there's more!
I have also made a version like on the album with the solo at the end. And I have had another go at Rain. The last time I did these songs the algorithms still had trouble with distorted guitars but that does not seem to be the case any more, so this one sounds a bit nicer than Abracadabra.
But wait, there's still more!
You also get a totally guitar-free demix of Rain, which sounds oddly modern. Just a bit of rapping over the top and you'd have a chart hit. And also I have isolated just the guitars and drums and sped them back up to the tempo they were performed in. This is weird because they now sound like normal drums, just very very fast. The song sounds quite different in the two bridge passages without the bass guitar holding the G. You'll notice a strange and dark harmonic shift on the bits where John would normally sing "Raaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin..."
